Part of the same collection as the stool and lamp, Lace Divider distinguishes itself through its unique materiality.

The concept was born from the challenge of textile waste—specifically the leftover lace and brokat from bespoke wedding gowns. Since every bride seeks a unique design for their dream day, the creation of couture naturally generates significant remnants.

Turning waste into gems, Studio Hendro Hadinata and Threadapeutic collaborated to transform these “meaningful traces” into a functional masterpiece. Lace Divider preserves the essence of those celebrated moments, weaving the beauty of a “dream day” into a new, tangible reality.

Studio Hendro Hadinata and Threadapeutic are proud to announce that Lace Divider has been named the winner of the Design Anthology Awards 2025 in the Textile category. This recognition celebrates our commitment to transforming reclaimed materials into culturally significant design.

Stools wrapped in partially-finished textile cushion covers become an interactive canvas for you to complete.

Each stool features a unique shade of blue, inspired by birds and insects native to Indonesia, crafted from surplus fabric found in Threadapeutic’s storeroom. At their core lies the process of “brushing,” a technique that reveals the hidden layers of fabric beneath.

First showcased at Bintaro Design District 2024, these stools encourage a tactile connection with the act of making—transforming something functional into a tactile experience for the user.

Hiro Chair is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of craftsmanship, focusing on the beauty of detail and simplicity.

Embracing this ethos, we explored the natural elegance of materials and techniques, transitioning from solid wood to plywood bending for the backrest. This process allowed us to create graceful curves while minimizing material use. Subtle enhancements to the chair’s foot and profile add to its aesthetic appeal, giving it a solid and striking presence.

Represent a unique fusion of innovative material usage; it is resulting in its bold character.

Ton Chair is departing from the conventional wood bending technique to incorporate hollow metal bending, a method that is essential for reducing material wastage and enhancing durability. By looking at its weaknesses in traditional construction, such as fragile joints; metal bending emerges as a solution. Additionally, the inclusion of a construction ring at the chair’s base strengthens its structure, ensuring longevity.

  • Studio Hendro Hadinata x Every Collections | Phase Three: Reconstruct

Exploring functional yet aesthetically pleasing details has been an everyday task for product designers.

Seeking a new perspective can arise from existing dilemmas within well-known products, including furniture with its complicated structures, ergonomic considerations, size concerns, and sustainability issues. This reconstruction process aims to elevate these designs to be adaptable to present situations such as themeable interior demands and architecture in hospitality sectors without dismissing their iconic features.

Studio Hendro Hadinata’s holistic approach to design interpretation, combined with EVERY Collection’s craftsmanship, has resulted in the creation of a line of ‘Bread and Butter’ chair collections.

With the concept of traditional Indonesian gateways and temples (candi), this design is a reflection of Nusantara’s ancestral philosophies. Gerbang Terbelah (divided gateways), popular in Java, Bali and Lombok, has become our main inspiration. Gerbang Terbelah is still one of the most impactful architectural relics in Indonesia which was said to be found in the Majapahit era. Candi Bentar, has also become one of our main compasses.
