Studio Hendro Hadinata is a creative practice based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Founded in 2016, the studio collaborates with local and international clients to produce meaningful concepts and promote cultural democratization through innovative exploration. By ingraining contextual narratives into objects, the studio believes that cultural heritage and skills from the past are the keys to shape a cultural future. Engaging in both commercial and personal work, Studio Hendro Hadinata designs objects and furniture for retail, hospitality, residential properties and art.
Finding design solutions rooted in cultural references has become a trademark of Studio Hendro Hadinata’s work. The young designer believes in advancing society towards a better future by creating culturally significant objects that deepen our connection to our collective identity. We strive to incorporate these concepts into our designs, which have been exhibited at Salone del Mobile in Milan, Emerge in Singapore, and IFFT in Tokyo. We believe that local cultures are a treasure trove of design inspiration.
