Lanting means Raft Boat. The LANTING sofa or commonly known as the Shell Chair shape, is inspired by a canoe or boat that is being built. The raft boat that was used as a means of transportation for the Musi River community in ancient times was poured into the design of the canoe which was laid down with a retaining construction behind the left and right. This construction indicates the need for a cover on the canoe, for the Musi people to rest while fishing. This design inspiration was transformed into the Musi Banyuasin Collection in the form of 1, 2 and 3 Seat LANTING Sofas.
