A cultural object shaped by urban conditions, a warteg is a sidewalk food kiosk favoured by many city residents for its traditional dishes. These humble stalls originally have a plank-covered façade though many have departed to modern appearances. To evoke the memory of those old fragrant planks, our Plank Chair was carved.
